PATRICK DUFFY | Founder, Global Fashion Exchange (GFX)

Patrick Duffy is the founder of Global Fashion Exchange (GFX) a global platform and consultancy promoting sustainability in the fashion industry through forums, educational content and cultural events for consumers and brands. Patrick powers creative teams in New York, Los Angeles, Dubai and London and has produced events, created marketing campaigns around the world for some of the world’s most recognized brands. In addition to his work with GFX, Patrick also manages global partnerships for Common Objective, an intelligent business network for the fashion industry based in the UK.

JESSICA SCHREIBER | Founder, FABSCRAP

Jessica Schreiber is the Founder of FABSCRAP, which provides convenient pickup and recycling of fabric scraps from businesses in New York City and creates opportunities for reuse. Prior to launching FABSCRAP, she was responsible for New York City’s textile recycling and e-waste recycling contracts and programs as a Senior Manager in the Bureau of Recycling and Sustainability at the Department of Sanitation. She has a Master’s degree in Climate and Society from the Earth Institute at Columbia University and was recently featured in Apparel Magazine’s Top Elite Under 30.

CAL MCNEIL | Program Director, Council for Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)

Cal McNeil is a Minnesota native who graduated with a BA in Print Journalism and Convergent Media from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 2012. He has held positions in-house at luxury designer brands including womenswear ready-to-wear and accessories brand Altuzarra and handbag and jewelry designer Sang A, as well as leading fashion editorial site Style.com (now Vogue Runway), focusing on market and trend stories. Since 2015, he has worked for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening American fashion designers in the global economy. He began within the corporate partnerships team and managed partnerships such as Amazon Fashion, Samsung, NFL and more and in 2018, began to lead all supply chain and manufacturing programming, initiatives and partnerships for the CFDA including the Fashion Manufacturing Initiative (FMI).

NGOZI OKARO | Executive Director, Custom Collaborative

Ngozi Okaro, Executive Director of Custom Collaborative, a small scale production factory providing training and work to low-income and immigrant women in New York City. Ngozi is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Morgan State University and is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and New York. Among other distinctions, she is certified by New York University’s Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising, was a 2014 Environmental Leadership Program Fellow, and is a graduate of the Coro Leadership New York program. She is an advocate for socio-economic justice who builds bridges in and between organizations and individuals to create opportunity and access.
